I think what you typed made a ton of sense. However, think on this, what if you wrote a catchier title? I am not suggesting your information isn't solid, however suppose you added a post title to maybe get folk's attention? I mean My FluxBB is kinda plain. You should peek at Yahoo's front page and watch how they create article titles to grab viewers to open the links. You might add a related video or a pic or two to grab people excited about everything've written. In my opinion, it would bring your blog a little bit more interesting.
