I think what you published was actually very reasonable. But, what about this? suppose you were to write a killer headline? I am not saying your information is not solid, however what if you added a post title to maybe get people's attention? I mean Post new topic / My FluxBB is kinda boring. You might peek at Yahoo's home page and note how they create article titles to get people interested. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to grab people interested about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it could bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
